HEATHROW MOTORCYCLES SPARE PARTS
Returns & Refunds.
Your satisfaction matters to us. Find out how to request a return, report a faulty product and receive a refund.
At Heathrow Motorcycles Spare Parts, we want you to shop with confidence. We understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected, may not be suitable for your motorcycle, or may arrive with an issue.
This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to request a return, cancel an online purchase, report faulty or incorrect items and understand the refund process.
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
01. 14-Day Online Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer purchasing online in the UK, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us clearly within the 14-day cancellation period. You then have another 14 days to send the goods back to us.
The cancellation period generally starts the day after you, or someone you nominate (other than the delivery carrier), receives the goods.
This right is subject to statutory exceptions, including certain custom-made or personalised products and other categories specified by law.
02. Returns for Unwanted Items
If you decide that an item is no longer required or is not suitable, you may exercise your applicable online cancellation rights within the statutory period.
When returning an item because you have changed your mind, please ensure that:
- The item is returned within the applicable return period.
- All accessories and components supplied with the product are included.
- The product is handled only as much as reasonably necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and functioning.
- Any original packaging, labels and documentation are included where available.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it. This does not mean that simply opening packaging automatically removes your cancellation rights.
03. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
We want every product you receive to match its description and be of satisfactory quality and fit for its intended purpose.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your legal rights, please contact us as soon as possible.
Your rights when goods are faulty
- Within 30 days: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you generally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.
- After 30 days: You will generally have the right to request a repair or replacement before exercising further remedies, where applicable.
- If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful: You may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject the goods, depending on the circumstances.
These statutory rights apply in accordance with the relevant consumer protection legislation.
04. Motorcycle Parts and Compatibility
Motorcycle spare parts can vary depending on manufacturer, model, year, engine specification and other vehicle details. We encourage customers to check product descriptions and compatibility information carefully before ordering.
If you believe that you have received a part that does not match the product description or compatibility information provided at the time of purchase, please contact us.
If you have ordered the wrong part or selected an unsuitable item, your applicable cancellation rights will still apply. Any assessment of the product's condition or diminished value will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Please avoid installing, modifying or using a part before confirming its compatibility. Installation or use beyond what is necessary to inspect an item may affect its value and the assessment of a change-of-mind return.
05. How to Request a Return
To begin a return or report an issue with an order, contact our team with the relevant order details.

Provide Details
Include your order number, product name and a description of the reason for your return.

Please contact us before sending a product back so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions.
06. Return Shipping Costs
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were properly informed of this before placing your order.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to your legal rights, you should not have to bear unreasonable return costs. We will work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution.
Please retain any available proof of postage or return tracking information until the matter has been resolved.
07. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due following an online cancellation, we will issue it without undue delay and within the applicable statutory timeframe.
For statutory online cancellation returns, refunds must generally be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that they have been sent back, whichever happens first.
- Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
- Standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.
- Additional costs paid for a more expensive delivery option may not be refundable in a change-of-mind cancellation.
- Any permitted deduction for diminished value will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.
Your payment provider or bank may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.
08. Items Excluded from Certain Cancellation Rights
Some goods are exempt from the statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include:
- Goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
- Sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the legal exception applies.
- Other goods falling within a specific statutory exception.
These exceptions do not remove your legal rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
09. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to stop the order from being dispatched where operationally possible.
If your order has already been dispatched, you may need to follow the applicable cancellation and return process.
